Currently, the Cooperative has a membership of 64 individuals. Membership is divided into two categories: Full Membership with voting rights (reserved for those actively farming), and Associate Membership which is non-voting. Of the 64 members, 54 are full members and 10 are associate members. Members range in age from 25 to 81.

To obtain membership, an individual must first complete either a Full Membership or an Associate Membership application. For full membership, you must meet the following criteria: obtain a farmer's license, pay annual dues, and subscribe to the VIFC membership investment. An Associate Membership is also obtained in the same manner, but you will only pay annual dues. An application can be downloaded from below, or can be obtained from our office at 54 Castle Coakley.

Membership Dues:
Annual Full Membership fee: $ 100.00
Annual Associate Membership fee: $50.00

The Virgin Islands Farmers Cooperative, Inc. will be in a transition period over the next several months. We are in the process of developing our phase one & two infrastructure of “Operation Breadbasket".
